Yes. A signed contract is necessary for each step of the development process, from the initial agreement for production to the final sign off of the finished Web site. This ensures that you are kept up to date of the entire design process from start to finish.

Upon completion of the initial Web development contract 1/3 of the total cost is due. A second payment of 1/3 of the estimated total (adjusted for changes in estimate if necessary) is due when page templates (without added content) are complete and approved. A final 1/3 payment (adjusted again for changes in estimate if necessary) is due upon completion of the site as specified.

Unless you decide to go into a maintenance agreement with us, we will leave the maintenance to you. We are pleased to offer several Content Management Systems which allow users to make site updates. Please note that owing to Web server security issues, we cannot allow clients to make site updates except through a Content Management System (CMS).

Depending on the complexity of the design and the number of pages, it can take as little as one (1) week to complete the Web site production. Please note that the timely and orderly delivery of content (text, images, etc.) is essential in expediting the production process.

If you have no professional-grade photographs available for your business, we suggest you use professional stock photography. These will be chosen for appropriateness of style, color and theme to match your site's needs. Stock images require reimbursement (usually between $2-$10 per image).

The process of creating visuals, such as graphics and page designs, consists in providing the client with drafts and asking for feedback. The signed contract stipulates two (2) rounds of revisions for each design element.

Owing to its technical nature, we believe that Web design is best discussed visually. To this end, we engage our clients with a slideshow of dozens of web designs according to their industry sector before deciding upon a unique design. This approach eliminates misunderstandings with regard to the design interface and enables our clients to build their Web sites only after a thorough analysis of their competitors.

Should additional work be required after signing the contract for the production of the Web site, a CHANGE ORDER must be signed. Additional work is defined as the addition of pages, graphics, or other significant features, any graphic, page design, or actual page requiring more than two (2) rounds of revisions, revisions to text content provided ready for publication, changes to elements which have been finalized, or significant changes in plan, scope, or direction of the project.
